Dental Implants

Dental implants are the best replacements for missing teeth. Dental implants are made up of three parts: a special surgical grade titanium post that is inserted surgically into the jawbone, a strong ceramic crown in the exact dimensions, functionality and aesthetics of your tooth, and an abutment that connects below the surface post to the crown.

This treatment consists of a diagnostic preliminary phase where prosthodontist carefully designs the type of prosthesis to be performed, once determined, a precise guide where the surgeon is prescribed which is the optimal position of the implant.

Periodontics

“Peri” means around, and “odontal” refers to teeth. Periodontal diseases are infections of the structures around the teeth. These include the gums, the cementum that covers the root, the periodontal ligament and the alveolar bone. In the earliest stage of periodontal disease, gingivitis, the infection affects only the gums. In more severe forms of the disease, all of the supporting tissues are involved.

  • Deep Cleaning (scaling and root planning)
  • Gum graft surgery
  • “Gummy Smile” correction
  • Open flap debridement (periodontal surgery to correct periodontal disease)
  • Guided bone regeneration (bone graft)
  • Periodontal regeneration with Enamel matrix protein derivative
  • Periodontal Plastic surgery
  • Crown lengthening

Restorative Dentistry

Cavities, enamel wear, and all dental structure damage are necessary to restore to avoid future problems with oral function and aesthetics. To achieve the restoration of oral health we use different treatment methods (direct and indirect):

  • Composite filling
  • Inlay/Onlay
  • Full porcelain/ceramic crown
  • Porcelain fused to metal crown
  • Zirconia crown
  • Veneers

Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics

Orthodontics is the branch of dentistry that corrects teeth and jaws that are positioned improperly. Crooked teeth and teeth that do not fit together correctly are harder to keep clean, are at risk of being lost early due to tooth decay and periodontal disease, and cause extra stress on the chewing muscles that can lead to headaches, TMJ syndrome and neck, shoulder and back pain. Teeth that are crooked or not in the right place can also detract from one’s appearance.

  • Accelerated orthodontic tratment (accelerated ostegenic orthodontics)
  • Conventional orthodontic treatment
  • Clear braces
  • Metal Braces
  • Invisalign

The benefits of orthodontic treatment include a healthier mouth, a more pleasing appearance, and teeth that are more likely to last a lifetime.

Endodontics (Root Canal) at Bioral Dental Group
Endodontics (Root Canal) at Bioral Dental Group

Endodontics (Root Canal)

Root canal treatment is needed for two main reasons. The first is infection. untreated cavity is a common cause of pulp infection. The decay destroys the enamel and dentin of the tooth until it reaches the pulp. Bacteria then infect the pulp. Antibiotics can’t get to infections inside teeth. The inflammation caused by the infection reduces the blood supply to the tooth.
